In honor of Sr. Mary Genino’s commitment to the Los Angeles community, the Marymount Institute has established the Sr. Mary Genino, RSHM Fellowship Program for LMU students both undergraduate and graduate to gain valuable community experience as part of their studies. The fellowship provides stipends for students to work with justice-oriented community organizations.

The inaugural fellowship recipient, Jeny Anaya, has been interning at South Central Los Angeles Ministry Project (SC LAMP), a community organization co-founded by Sr. Mary Genino and the RSHM.
