This week’s #ThrowbackThursday takes us back to 1958, when The Tidings featured a remarkable family story: three sisters from the same family who each answered the call to religious life with the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary.
Daughters of Catherine Rushton of St. Charles Parish in North Hollywood, pictured from left to right are Sister M. Sean (Yvonne), Sister M. Aloysius (Renée), and Sister M. Renée (Audrey), RSHM.
At the time of the article, Sister Aloysius (Renée) was serving in Bogotá, Colombia, while Sisters Sean (Yvonne) and Renée (Audrey) were in Tarrytown, New York.
A wonderful glimpse into RSHM history and a family whose three daughters shared a calling to serve.
