Today, we celebrate the teachers who have dedicated their lives to educating, encouraging, and inspiring others at every stage of life.

For 103 years, since 1923, RSHM Sisters and lay educators in the Western American Area have carried the mission of education across the West Coast and Mexico. In classrooms and communities, they have educated children, young people, and adults, sharing not only knowledge, but also compassion, faith, and a commitment to helping others grow and flourish.

Their work is part of the RSHM’s global educational mission, which continues today through the RSHM Global Network of Schools and in communities around the world.

On #WorldTeachersDay, we honor all RSHM educators past and present and thank the Sisters and lay teachers whose dedication has touched generations of lives.

To all our teachers: thank you for educating minds, inspiring hearts, and empowering people of all ages through the gift of education.
