Last week, Sister Miriam Tiburcio, RSHM, was honored at a special luncheon for all volunteers who assist travelers at Los Angeles International Airport. For many years, she has faithfully served those in need, offering a welcoming presence and a helping hand.The theme of the celebration, “Planting the Seeds of Kindness,” beautifully reflects Sister Miriam’s spirit and dedication. She invited Sister Luísa Almendra, RSCM, a visiting professor from Portugal who is teaching this year at Loyola Marymount University, to share in this joyful occasion.
We are so grateful for Sister Miriam’s example of kindness and generosity.
