We are delighted to welcome Sister Luisa Maria Almendra, RSCM, to our Western American Area. Sister Luisa, who is from Portugal, will be spending her sabbatical year with us. Sponsored by the Marymount Institute, she will serve as a visiting scholar with the Theological Studies Department at LMU and will work with the Marymount Institute in enhancing an understanding of the RSHM charism and spirituality at the university.
We are grateful for her willingness to share her many gifts and for the blessings her presence will bring to the Western American Area and to LMU.
